Frequently asked questions

How wake-up calls and phone reminders work — and how to manage them.

How does the service work?

You choose a date, a time and a Swiss phone number — we call at exactly that time with a wake-up call or a spoken reminder. It works on any phone that can receive calls.

What happens if the call isn't answered?

We don't give up after one try. Every call is repeated up to 12 times, a few minutes apart, until it is answered.

What do I hear when I pick up?

For wake-up calls, the wake-up sound you chose — for example a friendly good-morning greeting or church bells. For medication reminders, a short spoken reminder. Otherwise, your own message is read aloud.

Can calls repeat automatically?

Yes. A reminder can run once, every day, Monday to Friday, or on the weekdays you pick — for example every Tuesday and Thursday.

Can I book calls for someone else?

Yes — simply enter their phone number. Many customers book medication reminders for a parent, for example. Your dashboard shows every call and whether it was answered.

Can I change or cancel a reminder?

Yes, up to one minute before the call. When you cancel a reminder, its credit goes straight back to your balance.

How do I know the call was made?

Your dashboard lists every reminder with each call attempt, its time and its outcome. If a call can't be delivered at all, we notify you by email.

Which phone numbers can you call?

Any Swiss mobile or landline number. Special numbers such as 0800 or 0900 can't be used.

What number does the call come from?

It varies. Depending on the route the call takes, it may show as a hidden or unknown number, or come from different numbers. If your phone blocks hidden numbers, allow them so our call can reach you.

Do I need an app or a password?

Neither. You book in the browser, and signing in works through a link we email you. A single call can even be booked without an account.

How much does it cost?

A single call costs CHF 0.79. Monthly plans and credit packs bring the price per call down — all the details are on the pricing page.
